In 2017, the Armtp Digital Barometer showed that, for the first time, the French had more access to the internet via their mobile phone than through fixed access (computer). However, the fixed connectivity of the entire territory remains an issue of social progress and competitiveness for the French economy: access to information, healthcare, administrative procedures … but also the digitization of French companies are at stake. It involves accelerating the deployments of all operators, in particular to hasten the migration to optical fiber, a new infrastructure for the 21st century.
